So... I was supposed to go to my doctor's appointment today but the day started off pretty exhausting so I just decided to reschedule for tomorrow. Besides, I'm bout to pop any second now and that's all that matters LoL. Anyways, the cable guy dropped by to fix our internet/cable connections and took forevvvver! He looked like Mario from the Mario Brothers and was such a slow poke. I honestly didn't know why he took that long. I was falling asleep on the couch so I put the channel on Fresh Prince. This fooh changed it to some Spanish home shopping network of some sort. It's like uhmmm hellloo?! I'm trying NOT to fall asleep cuz you's taking tooo damn long! So he finally left and the hubby came home... Thank God. While I was waiting for Cyril to come home, I was looking around our bedroom and commending myself for doing such a good job "re-decorating" since our baby girl's going to arrive soon. However, I wasn't fully satisfied with the way I arranged my dresser. It's a four drawer chest and it's not too tall which is perfect for my portable oval mirror but I just wasn't super happy with the way I arranged my jewellery on top of the dresser. So, me being the Interior Designer that I am went online and looked up ideas LOL. I mean, I already know what I wanted to do, I was just looking up the cheapest places where I can buy the shelves/hangers/knobs that I want to add on to my little corner. My baby's corner is pretty much completed, I just have to bring out all the boxes of diapers that we got from the shower and put it where it's not going to crowd our space. Pretty much anywhere but in our bedroom LOL. We're already pretty packed as it is which is why I had to do a general cleaning/disposing. Geeeze! I never had to get rid of so much stuff as I did these past couple of weeks!... all because of a BABY hahaha! Little spoiled brat who's not even here yet.
Anyways, as I was browsing on HGTV.com and APARTMENTTHERAPHY.com, I realized that instead of me just rambling on and on about everyday stuff, I can put this blog into better use and add decorating ideas and advice! Not just from those websites but from yours truly as well. I don't know if I should turn this blog into just that but maybe there's another website that will enable me to upload pictures easier? Hmmmm... maybe I'll turn my tumblr into a Home Design Page where I can express myself freely and critique certain trends. Actually, my tumblr's been stagnant for a while now. I still go on it and reblog posts but maybe from here on out I'll just make it into a fashion/Home Design exclusive. EUREKA!

Weekend Ramblings
Sooo.. I'm actually at my old school library waiting for my husband because he's in his Saturday basketball class. He loves it because it's his workout time and plus he loooves basketball. That boy lives and breathes basketball... just like Me or well at least I used to LOL. Anyways, I just thought I'd say helllllooo this weekend and update ya'll on what's been happening. Can I just be real honest? I haaate writing such proper English! hahaha even though I'm paranoid and corrects everyone's papers on grammatical errors LoL. But yesssss from here on out I'mma just talk the way I wanna talk aiiiight?
Ok phewwww... now that I got that outta the way, let's chaat! Hmmm so first off there's been a few earthquakes that struck Japan and I actually even posted a live video on my FB profile taken by one of the residents there. Lemme just say that it freaked me out! The quake lasted more than 3 minutes and I think it was 8.9 or something like that. It's crazy! As I watched a couple more amateur videos from the quake, I scrolled down the featured videos and lo and behold, there's this video clip of a the local Chinese news saying that there were TWO suns spotted in China. YES, TWO! So I watched closely and O-M-G they was NOT lying! There were more videos that correlated to the video I watched and the second sun is supposedly a planet called NIBIRU? Ok lemme stop for a sec. Don't think I'm weird cuz I know Nibiru sounds all Star-Wars-ish LOL. It seriously said NIBIRU. Furthermore, I went on the Nasa site and they said that it was a COMET called ELENIN! Come on PEOPLE! What IS going onnnn?! What's the media hiding from us? Or maybe they're not and bottom line is they just don't want us running around paranoid going to Costco and buying Spam and Vienna Sausages just in case the world was gonna end haha! So yeah I just thought I'd throw that in there and PLEASE by all means, go ahead and research for yourself. It's funny I log into my FB and people post up funny stats like "I'm gonna get wasted in VEGAS baby!" or "Where the party at? somebody hit me up" or "I don't know what to do this weekend, anybody wanna suggest a new joint?" FOOOOOOLS! How bout ya'll PRAAAY this weekend cuz the world miiiight end! LoL JK JK. But yeah still, I think that people should be more aware of their surroundings! I mean it's crazy how just yesterday CALIFORNIA, yes that's US was issued a Tsunami WARNING. Noooo not ALERT, a friggin WARNING! Helllllloooo!? Anybody care?!
Anyways, besides all these madness, I'm actually waiting to pop this baby out anytime soon. I was at the doctor last Monday for a check-up. Now I was starving and told my hubby to get us some In-and-Out before my appointment. My husband said, Naahhhhh we'll just eat at Red Lobster after. So I was like yeah yeah ok. UNFORTUNATELY, after the doctor checked to see if I was dilated (Hahaha sorrry too much info)... I started to bleed a little. UUUGHHH Good goin DOC! So he panicked I don't know WHY?! and told Me he was going to admit me for a while to see if I go into labor. HELLLLOOOO?!!! First of all I was FINE till he checked Me. Second of all, I WANT MY RED LOBSTER!!! Daang it! LoL. Ya'll shoulda seen Joshua's face hahahaha! It looked like he just lost a million bucks when the Doc told Me that I had to stay for however long I needed to stay. So yeah, I ended up staying for 6 hours WITHOUT FOOD. My poor husband felt bad for Me so he didn't eat either till I was discharged! We went STRAIGHT to RED LOBSTER and grubbed! LOL. Oh mannn. The JOY of parenthood.
Sooooo as I was saying, I'm due ANY moment now and I'm actually packed. All I need is to clean the room some more just to make sure there ain't no cobwebs floating around when this princess arrives LoL. Whoooo lemme just tell ya'll that I cannot wait to go back to my regular weight. It's not much fun looking at a closet full of clothes that you can't wear hahaha! This huge BELLY is in the friggin way! Basically what I'm saying is... I can't wait to have my waiste back hahaha! the only downside to all this is the fact that I can't be piggin out anymore cuz I ain't got no excuse to be addicted to food LOL. Which is good in a waaaay. I mean, I'm waaay too young to be one of them ahem, chubby moms LoL. I want my size 26 waiste back and by golly I WILL get it back, one way or another hahaha!
Aside from all this, there's been a couple of things I've been wanting to address about friendships/relationships/family. You're prolly thinking, UH OH, she's gonna DISH OUT some DIRTY LAUNDRY!!! hahahaha well in fact yes, I AM LoL JK. Nooo not in a bad way, more like just me venting out and I'm pretty sure ya'll can relate teeheehee. So yessss, I'll definitely talk about those issues in my next entry. In the meantiiiime, I'm hungry and this baby got no mercy so I gotsta gooo.

Off-guard
When we have a conversation with someone who we haven't talked to in a while, usually we just expect a quick catch-up, nothing over the top or overly serious talk. And we especially don't expect any awkward moments or us being caught off-guard. Recently I had a talk with an old friend about certain changes that are currently taking place in my life. We talked and talked about my frustrations and I was giving my two cents plus the whole nine and then some... LOL. I've never really had a convo like that with this specific friend since this friend of mine is one of them quiet types who just nodds their head and then says, "So what's the solution?" LOL. At the end our talk, my friend pointed out a subject of change that took place several months ago. It was about me being married and finally settled down with the person who I'm going to be spending the rest of my life with. I just laughed and said yeah yeah yeah I'm married now, I've been! and I'm gonna have a baby! My friend became serious for a couple of seconds and said, "I know but it hasn't sunk in yet and I don't know when it finally will."

Lovely Day
Soooo... the day started off early. I went w/the hubby to his basketball class which was waaaay too early for a Saturday LoL. I used to have that class so it was good chillin w/my old Coach who was happy to congratulate us upon finding out that we were hitched and told my husband that he's been "busy" because I had a baby bump haha! School seems so different today. It feels good knowing that I've graduated but I honestly believe that the prize wasn't me finishing but me enduring and persevering till the end. I think that graduation was just the cherry on the top. It was the tedious everyday routine of trying not to give up that made me who I am today and for that I'm grateful.
After some good ol' Mongolian BBQ across from school, we headed to Ikea to buy the drawers we needed for the arrival of our new baby. I'm so blessed to be married to a great handyman because then I don't have to pay the Ikea guys to set anything up LoL. My poor husband got overworked today. The drills Coach Rocky makes us do in class ain't a piece of cake. He's funny AND serious at the same time. Furthermore, he had to carry those boxes from Ikea and they're no joke either especially in the drizzle.
After some bumps and bruises, we finally got at least half done in our room. All of the baby's clothes are organized with those cute super convenient drawer dividers LoL. I realized that the main focus of our lives now is the baby and I definitely had to cut down on the purses, clothes, etc LoL. I usually don't like giving stuff away thinking that I could still wear them but this time I had no choice. I may be the queen but there's a new princess coming =)
I still have lots to do, I just thought I'd take a breather while the hubby arranges his stuff. Anyways, today was productive and there's no better feeling than knowing I can cross out a few things on my to do list. ^__^

Hi
So this is my first post and I thought I'd just be straightforward with ya'll. This blog is not just a cute fun online journal but an outlet for me to relieve stress. I'll be venting out here and keeping it a hundred. I may be reserved when you first meet me but you'll soon realize that I'm definitely NOT the quiet or shy type. I make sure I'm genuine to anyone I meet and I certainly give people my opinion whether they like it or not LoL. Anyways, it's pouring outside which is maybe why I was motivated to create another blog. I had one before but I never really used it but I'm pretty sure you'll be hearing often from me on this one.
